Black Girls Vote is a national, nonpartisan, nonprofit organization with a community that inspires Black Girls to use their vote to improve the quality of life for their families and the collective community.
I worked on their social campaign to encourage more Black Girls to vote in the 2020 election.
For the “I’m a Black Girl That Votes” campaign we used real people and the power of UGC to collect videos. We worked with them over zoom to record in their homes and created a video that was shared on the Black Girls Vote Instagram feed, stories, and re-shared around the country. We also created shorter cut-downs of the videos for in-feed post
